Our Story

Everybody loves a comeback story, don’t they? WB’s kitchen + catering is born from an opportunity created in 2020 during the COVID 19 pandemic. Our executive chef, Wade Burch, saw an opportunity to bring chef-inspired, high-quality meals from his kitchen into people’s homes.


Diners were fearful of dining out, but that didn’t mean that the desire for high-quality food, locally sourced ingredients, and innovative food had diminished. Chef Wade began simply by preparing meals for friends and neighbors to help them cope with staying home through the pandemic lockdown and quickly realized that people throughout the community would benefit from truly innovative, restaurant-quality food in their homes, and WBs kitchen came to life.


WBs kitchen + catering opened their first storefront in March 2021 in Frisco, Texas, and proudly serves the West Frisco community with chef-crafted meals that live up to their lifestyle.


The company is founded on the idea that everything starts with relationships, just like WBs kitchen + catering started by Chef Wade bringing his culinary excellence home to friends, family, and neighbors.

For us, it’s all about relationships. Chef Wade Burch has a remarkable career as an executive chef, but founded WB’s kitchen + catering when he brought his culinary excellence home to friends, family, and neighbors.


Before creating WB’s kitchen Chef Wade Burch, CEC, was Executive Chef of Perle on Maple at Le Méridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh. He brings a cultivated palate from his training at the School for American Chefs, at Beringer Vineyards in Napa Valley, and Windows on the World Wine School in NYC. Chef Wade has also graced the kitchens of notable properties coast to coast including The Plaza Hotel in New York, The Pan Pacific Hotel in San Francisco, and The Hotel Crescent Court right here in Dallas, just to name a few.

Chef lives in Frisco with his wife, Lisa, and their daughters. He’s active in the community and can often be found on the weekends feeding hungry teenagers.  But before his illustrious career feeding teenagers, he appeared on and won the Food Network’s hit show Chopped in season 11 and competed in the Chopped Champions program in season 12.  During the competition he met with highs and lows, but also received astounding praise for his antelope reduction.  "This is the best sauce ever made in that kitchen," remarked one judge.”


Chef Wade has quickly grown his latest venture into chef-prepared meals, in-home catering, and events that allow people to celebrate safely in their own home, with fine restaurant-quality food and wine pairings.
